If you need to change the message of your virtual
console login screen, edit the /etc/issue file and write thmessage that you want to appear at your login screen.
If you want to see system information about your computer then open terminal and type following command:-
uname -a

print all information, in the following order, except omit -p

If you want to create secure password for your web account then use following command.
openssl rand 6 -base64
The above command will create a random base 64 encoding string.
In System => Administrator => Software Sources => other software => add
deb file://(path to repo) lucid main
In brackets write path of repo i.e in which drive or folder repo is saved OR
simply open repo folder and then press "Ctrl L" then copy the path and paste it.The line should be without brackets.
If you want to see insults after each time you give wrong password to sudo.Then,
Open terminal and type
sudo visuso
In that file add new line : Defaults insults
Then every time sudo will insult with funny lines.Enjoy.
